e-Citizen
e-Citizen is a foundation-level programme that enables people to learn how to use computers and the Internet.
About e-Citizen
Computers and the Internet are a part of daily life. Every Citizen should be able to use them to engage in society and perform simple everyday tasks which are now routinely performed online.
e-Citizen is a certification programme that enables individuals to learn how to use computers and the Internet. It has been designed to help individuals get the most out of the Internet by explaining how it works and showing that it can be used for a range of purposes. These include dealing with government departments, finding information, buying products, and communicating online with family and friends.
Providing citizens with suitable online skills through the e-Citizen programme will give them the ability to access the life-enhancing aspects of the Information Society. e-Citizen is the ideal solution as it allows people to learn about the Internet without requiring prior computer knowledge.
