The ICDL Qualification (ECDL throughout Europe) is recognised as the certification standard for Computer and Information Technology User skills.
ICDL offers an invaluable and transferable qualification for those looking to improve their computing skills, individuals seeking employment, or advancement in posts where office IT skills are required.
The ICDL Syllabus is designed to cover the key concepts of computing, as well as the practical office PC applications and their use in both the workplace and the wider social environment. It is broken down into modules, eight of which are available in New Zealand (see below). A test for any seven modules must be passed before the ICDL Certificate is awarded.
